Winter days are ahead. I’m already prematurely mourning the passing of the holidays, when dried up trees are tossed to the curbs and the only homes still decorated are the ones that have those awaful inflatable Santas lying deflated and lifeless on the lawn. Pardon the depressive rant, where I was going with this was? Oh! So. I hate winter but I love my cold weather wardrobe. Dressing down is expected and never more accepted in those bleak January and February months. So I love investing in “the uniform” – a great layerable sweater, slimming leather pants that look chic for day and night, and the striped tee – that optimistic print that hints to sunny spring days ahead.
