I knew the Band of Outsiders show was going to be awesome when Aziz Ansari, the hilarious and adorable Parks and Recreation star, breezed into the show. While not exactly of the same fashion caliber as say, Brad Goreski, he’s one of the many cool and fiercely individual people in designer Scott Sternberg’s LA based posse which also includes stars like Kirsten Dunst and Jason Schwartzman. By basing the label in Cali, far from the fashion bubble influences and snarky clip board wielding fashion publicists of New York City, Band of Outsiders manages to maintain is quirky edge and produce truly unique and utterly chic collections season after to season.
Spring 2013 took us through an eery moonlit forest with dreamy shibori dyed pieces and tribal accents – all while keeping a tailored silhouette. Love.
