Going Overboard

Spring’s biggest accessory should be a yacht. Well…I guess it certainly would be the biggest accessory. Nonetheless, the nautical trend has been interpreted a thousand ways this season and we honestly can’t get enough of it! Stripes are classic yet fresh and after a loooong winter, it’s nice to embrace a trend that screams summer. Karen Walker’s spring collection is a sailor’s delight, but with Walker’s quirky twist. Hunter is the new Navy

Here are a few test images from our spring shoot. We got a little carried away with the Apiece Apart hunter green pieces. They pair with everything and offer a refreshing new color combination for spring. In the top photo, we styled the Apiece Apart trousers with a rad little Jenni Kayne crop top layered over a Kain tank with a Flutter necklace. In the next photo, the Apiece Apart skirt is paired with their mint blouse and a Cacharel cardigan. Hunter is the new navy. At least in our closets.

Mara Hoffman’s fall collection presentation during fashion week was utterly hypnotic.
