Just when I think I have a grasp on the latest “it” designer dressing the indie actors and PYTs on the New York fashion scene my latest issue of Nylon arrives and I realize that I’m way behind on the buzz. Their editors have kryptonic fashion knowledge and always seem cover noteworthy emerging designers way before they hit mainstream. Which is why I was so ecstatic to read two recent posts on their website raving about the fall collections from LOVER and CAMILLA AND MARC…two designers Les Nouvelles will be launching with this fall. Felt rather cool, actually.

From Camilla and Marc (pictured above) we’ll feature whimsy frocks in bold colors that will pair perfectly with an opposing piece such as a cropped leather jacket or tailored boy blazer. As for Lover, their romantic and sophisticated staples will seamlessly weave into your fall wardrobe…and stay there for many many falls to come.
