Since its inception in 2001 at a humble weekend market stall, Susien Chong and Nic Briand have taken the Lover label and established it as a brand of international reputation.

Self described as "same album, different songs" the couple who met in 1996, have taken their talents in fashion design, and graphic design, mixed with their individual tastes, one for romantic and ethereal the other for loud and irreverent, woven them together to create a label that has remained true to its signature style and ideals from day one. With a unique approach to feminine fashion, the labels mixture of pop culture references, quirky detailing and intimate fabrication have seen it placed on numerous 'One to Watch' lists.
