Cardigan by Lynne Hiriak
After graduating from FIT, Lynne Hiriak made her professional foray into knitwear as a designer at Polo Jeans Company Ralph Lauren. From there she seized coveted opportunities at companies such as Nautica, Michael Kors and Derek Lam. Under the tutelage of industry established talents she continued to develop her technical skills, employ her creativity and sharpen her knitwear talent in both women's and menswear.
Hiriak set out on her own to satisfy her desire to explore the craft of knitwear to it's limitless potential. She founded Capricorn Design Ltd., an innovative apparel company with its central focus on knitwear specific design consulting and a private label arm specializing in knit specific brands.
Capricorn Design Ltd. launched in-house knitwear brand CARDIGAN by Lynne Hiriak for Fall 2008.
